Gary,

All Mustangs, Camaros, and Firebirds are ESP.  (2011 cars are not specifically addressed in the Solo Rules) The 2010 Mustang Shelby GT500 without Street Prepared modifications is in BS.  I would assume an unmodified 2011 would be BS.  Chris is the Mustang expert - double-check with him.

According to the specs they are lighter by 100 lbs and have 50 more hp and 10 ft-lbs of torque more than the 2010 model. They also claim the suspension is improved. That might be enought to bump it upto AS next year. There hasn't been any information from SCCA regarding it's classification for the 2010 competition year though (not that I could find anyway).
