First Track Event of 2010 !!!

24 Days and Counting
The Las Vegas Region, PCA would like to invite you to join us as we start our 2010 season of Open Track Events.

It is on February 27th and 28th 2010 at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch.

This is the FIRST event of the exciting season that will see us visit the outside road course at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway twice this year, once in April and again in early December.

As part of this weekend, we will be offering our car control clinic free of charge. The clinic includes braking and skid pad exercises, along with classroom instruction. Clinic participants also receive one-on-one instruction from our cadre of certified Instructors throughout the weekend.

For the more advanced drivers, we offer 3 different run groups, based on experience, to maximize both safety and track time (30 minute sessions). And like always the event is open to all automotive marques, so invite your friends.

Track opens at 7:00am and the mandatory Driver's Meeting is at 8:15am and as always our event is open to all car marques so invite your friends.

Cost is only $325.00 for 2 days or $200.00 for 1 day. Save an additional $25.00 off "at Track" registration  by registering on-line at our webstore http://lvrpca.webstore.us.com/.

Visit our website for more information, www.lvrpca.com/events.html including Tech Form, Weekend Schedule and useful info on what to expect during a typical DE Event.

I look forward to seeing you out there  !!

Slackers??? were have YOU been Karim I was at the Track on New Years Day..................of course it wasn't paved and we didn't have roll cages or those extra two wheels you folks seem to need.  I've been to the track seven times already this year AND we've had 3 races.............so Karim I think perhaps it's you who needs to get out more often, lets face it your still messing about with an extra set of wheels, plus your car has one of those silly 4 stroke engines that redlines at a disappointing 9000 RPM's............if it had a proper  2 stroke engine it'd sing to 13 grand, not to mention acceleration that poor car can only dream off!!!!

Well I'll be running the old carbs, the zippy 39mm FCR Flat slide carbs make the car rev like mad but  between 1/3 & 2/3  throttle they still have issues, the car is drivable and would likely be faster it still bogs if you don't feed in the throttle reeeally slowly....................the Accel-Pump floods the motor which then goes lean in midrange. I have to play with the needles and pump timing.................not enough daylight left and I'm probably to cheap to pay for 2 hours of Dyno time.
